The 3D configurator for ZAPF sets new standards in the industry, showcasing prefabricated garages with previously unmatched visual quality.
We developed an interactive 3D configurator for ZAPF GmbH, allowing users to customize their precast concrete garage in real time directly on the website. As a special feature, the configured model can be placed virtually in its original size on the user's own property via a connected AR app.
The biggest challenge was balancing high-quality visuals, smooth performance across all devices, and an intuitive, uncluttered user interface. In the background, we also created a CMS infrastructure that allows ZAPF to dynamically adjust content and seamlessly transfer configuration data into their own internal systems.
Today, the application is the industry leader. Data flows automatically into the database, while customers and the sales team receive a clear PDF complete with a QR code. For ZAPF, the configurator has become an indispensable marketing tool that generates numerous leads and makes the entire consultation process noticeably more efficient.
