3D Visualization

The luminaire doesn't exist yet. The images do.

Bergmeister Leuchten is a manufacturer whose quality is rooted in its materials and craftsmanship: steel, aluminum, and bronze, combined with modern lighting technology. For their luminaire portfolio, several photorealistic 3D visualizations were created, showcasing this material and lighting quality without the need for a photo studio.

What made this project unique: The images were ready before the luminaires had even been produced. Often, not even prototypes existed. Using the construction data, marketing, sales, and architects were able to view the new models long before the first physical unit was available from the manufacturer.

The visualizations included:

• Pendant luminaires, wall luminaires, floor lamps, mirror luminaires, and bollard luminaires
• Materials such as bronze, brushed aluminum, and painted steel
• Light output, reflections, and shadow patterns on the surfaces
• Various variants, sizes, and color finishes per series
• Clean product shots for catalogs, websites, and sales materials

This allows for the creation of marketing images regardless of whether the product has already been manufactured. Bergmeister can feature new luminaires in catalogs, on their website, and in sales materials before the first prototype even exists. This shortens time-to-market, ensures consistent visual language across all models, and eliminates the need for costly photo shoots whenever variants, colors, or materials change.
